A Garden Photography Tour: Spring Blooms

With such lovely weather and Spring flowers I decided to take the Canon out for a garden photography tour.

In the Spring Bed.

Ficaria verna ‘Brazen Hussy’
Vinca diffopmis ‘Jenny Pym’
Mahonia aquifolium ‘ Apollo ‘
Anemone nemorosa Robinsoniana

The Oriental Garden.

Magnolia  stellata
Chaenomeles japonica

The White and Green Garden.

Pulmonaria Sissinghurst White
Spirea ‘Arguta’  Bridal Wreath
Euphorbia Amygdalodes Robbiae

The Blue Border.

Amelanchier ‘Lamarckii’
Fritillaria Imperialis Lutea Max
Lunaria annua ‘Rosemary Verey’

The Never Ending Woodland Walk.

Lamium orvala

These dead nettles can be invasive however they are loved by the bees and easy to pull up if you need to.

Lamium galeobdolonin
Dicentra ‘Stuart Boothman’

Primroses are one of my favourite spring flowers here with Vinca variegated and wild violets.

Whilst not a bloom the leaves of Anthriscus sylvestris ‘Ravenswing’ add an extra interest.

Cowslips among the beautiful marbled leaves of Arum italicum subsp. italicum ‘Marmoratum’.

Primula veris (Cowslip)

What is inspiring you to take your camera out into the garden?
