A Christmas gift of Hippeastrum first flowered with six blooms, now on its second flourish with five blooms.
Plants can provide not only pleasure, also optimism with a feeling of wellbeing, very welcome during the dark days of January.
What is giving you joy in your gardening world?
I agree Brian. She is a beauty. Nature is rather confused at the moment! I have miniature daffodils and crocus flowering, as well as primula…

What’s giving me joy in the garden? Well, this is pruning season, so I get to prune roses, and other deciduous plants as well.

That’s a real blast of colour at this grey time of the year. My cyclamen coum in flower, and other cyclamen with leaves. The low light is bouncing off the silver leaved varieties.
