Blogging has had to take a back seat recently with a wedding, holiday, a kitchen refit and decorating taking precedent. I lifted all the Dahlias from the raised beds last week, replacing them with tulips, also filling all the tulip pots. With the sun shining, I took a quick tour of the garden with the camera.
Hopefully I can soon catch up reading some of your posts, there is quite a list in my inbox.

Nice to see your post, Brian. Sounds like you’ve been quite busy. November has been very gray for us, with the rain continuing and lately, snow. Many chores didn’t get done, alas. This weather pattern is getting old!

Yes, we had nearly THREE whole days of it – it was worth putting up with the bitter cold to see it.

We are not known for autumn color in our region, and the sweetgums colored slowly this year. However, for some reason, flowering cherries are ridiculously bright yellow, and some had a bit of orange! I don’t know what got into them. They do not typically color so well. We got our first rain today. It was grand. The sky will finally be blue again when the rain stops. The sunlight will not be so brown.
