Well this had me thinking for a while, and then “Black Beauty” comes to mind. My choice of “Black Beauty” here is “Lilly Landini”. This flower is completely new to me and absolutely stunning. Tina
If it weren’t “Wordless Wednesday” I’d be thinking “Six on Saturday”. But I’m catching up on blog reading on a rainy Sunday morning. Landini’s a beaut but, like yours, my additions have turned out not to be. I’ll be lifting them later in the year to mix in with a contrasting lot so will attempt some bulb divisions then. I’m also attracted by Lord Bute (which, I see, Waitrose sell in season). Next spring ….
Perfect blooms….such rich colours.

The Pelargoniums are beautiful. Do they attract bees? Amelia

I think some of the more simple ones attract pollinators because they do produce seed.

It is a beauty Tina, I have twice ordered more from bulb suppliers and both times received a different one. Which you only discover when it flowers.

What colour would you like if I have some seed?

Ooh thank you Brian – pinks, especially darker ones, would be lovely if you had some seed to spare

I wish we had a rainy Sunday morning. Lord Bute had been on my wish list for some time.
