Holiday Time.

We have just returned from an enjoyable holiday in Cornwall.

Seaton Cornwall.

Staying at Tregrill Farm Cottages, owned by Peter and Diane Bellamy, who previously  lived near to us in Worcestershire.

My holiday reading (along with my blog list), I was attracted by the title, it perfectly describes my gardening philosophy.

We visited gardens (More of these in a later post), which of course led to some retail therapy.

On Gardener’s World on Friday night ‘Monty’ in his list of jobs for the weekend mentioned dead heading tulips.

Oh well back to it….although it will be a day off tomorrow visiting the Malvern Spring Show, which is right on our doorstep (More RT?)

  1. Plants and gardens infiltrate so many parts of the lives of some of us, don’t they Brian?! Hope you feel at least a little rested from your break although now you are home again ‘rest’ will no doubt be a thing of the past again! 😉

  2. Oh a lovely spot for a holiday Brian. My nephew is getting married in Cornwall later this year so we’re looking forward to spending a few days down there. Mirabel Osler’s book is a lovely read. Look forward to hearing more about your garden visits and perhaps maybe about Malvern too 🙂

  3. I’m up to Book 7 of the Poldark series which has been feeding my obsession with Cornwall. It seems such a beautiful part of the world. That book, also, looks very interesting.
