I love to watch everything opening in the Spring and the closer you look the more beautiful it is. Great photographs. I have never seen the flowers of the Snakeskin Acer. Amelia

The flowers are quite attractive, Amelia as are the field maples, which are very similar.

Gorgeous images, Brian, so easy to miss the magic of these tiny details. Cornus kessringii is one of my favourites, especially now with it’s waxy looking new leaves burst forth.

Very nice, lovely colours and detail. I find it very rewarding to look at things in close-up, especially now, with all the new growth being perfect. I like the look of Hydrangea quercifolia ‘Burgundy’, another leaf that looks like little hands!
